Yesterday, there were nearly 500 new confirmed cases.

As of 0 o’clock today, 497 new cases were confirmed.

Looking at the path of infection, 479 people occurred in Korea and 18 people were inflow from overseas.

In terms of domestic infections by region, 258 in the metropolitan area alone, including 102 in Seoul, 116 in Gyeonggi, and 40 in Incheon.

Of these, 47 were confirmed at the temporary screening and inspection offices in the metropolitan area.

In the non-capital region, Busan, where group infections occurred at the Gamcheon Port Port Union and nursing hospitals, was the largest with 53 people.

This was followed by 44 in Gwangju, 43 in Gyeongbuk, 24 in Chungbuk, and 19 in Gyeongnam.

Seven of the 18 foreign inflows were confirmed during the quarantine stage.

The number of people who died from Corona 19 increased by 8 to a cumulative 1,386.

The number of patients with severe gastric disorders decreased by 19 to 251.

This weekend the government is announcing a distancing step adjustment that will take effect next month.

Initially, it was scheduled to be announced tomorrow, but the announcement was delayed when the number of newly confirmed cases recently turned back on the rise.

Sohn Young-rae, head of the Social Strategy Division at the Central Accident Control Headquarters, said at the morning back briefing that it is necessary to determine whether the recent increase in confirmed cases is a temporary increase due to the IM Mission, and that the situation will be announced after watching the situation until the weekend.

Currently, steps of 2.5 steps in the metropolitan area and step 2 in the non-metropolitan area are being implemented.

The number of confirmed cases of local outbreaks in the last week, a key indicator of the adjustment of distance, has dropped to 300 and then has risen to 400.

Moreover, IM Mission group infection is showing signs of spreading across the country.
