Hanyang University Hospital-related cumulative confirmed cases increased by 10 or more from yesterday?

Up to yesterday, there were 34 confirmed cases related to Hanyang University Hospital, which increased by 13 as of 0 o’clock today.

There have been 47 cumulative confirmed cases so far.

On the 27th of last month, a patient admitted to the neurosurgery ward on the 15th floor of the hospital was tested positive for the first time and infection started.

The hospital quarantined the 15th floor ward where the confirmed patient came from the same group, and relocated the beds.

Currently, other hospital facilities such as emergency rooms are operating normally.

So far, 3,433 people in total have been tested if they visited the Seongdong-gu public health center or took the hospital self-test.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced the results of an epidemiological investigation into the group infection at Hanyang University Hospital.

The first confirmed person is believed to have spread the infection from the ward by taking care of the patient while shifting with his family.

In the surgical ward of Seoul National University Hospital, one nurse was confirmed yesterday.
