The number of new corona 19 confirmed cases was 429, continuing to 400 from the previous day.

Of the vaccines that the Korean government has decided to secure from COVAX, at least 2.71 million doses are expected to enter Korea in the first half of this year.

The number of new corona 19 confirmed cases came out with 429 and recorded 400 again from the previous day.

There were 22 cases of overseas inflow, and the total cumulative number of confirmed cases was 79,762.

Newly, 405 people have been removed from quarantine, with 8,610 people being quarantined, and 211 people with severe gastric disorders.

78.6% of cases occurred in the metropolitan area, with 228 in Seoul, 79 in Gyeonggi Province, and 33 in Incheon, respectively.

In addition, there were 42 cumulative confirmed cases from Chungcheong area, 24 from Gyeongbuk, 92 from Gyeongnam and 47 from Busan.

As a result of conducting a COVID-19 antibody test on 5,284 people, some of the nationwide national health and nutrition survey participants last year, a total of 5 cases were confirmed positive, revealing that the antibody retention rate was lower than in other countries.

Among these, about 2.71 million doses, including 117,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine and 2.56,800 doses of AstraZeneca vaccine, are expected to enter Korea in the first half of this year.

The quarantine authorities have emphasized awareness of the spread of the mutant virus.

The quarantine authorities expressed concern over the fact that the infection reproduction index rose slightly from 0.82 to 0.92 last week and called for thorough compliance with quarantine.
