Corona 19 confirmed in Korea is rarely showing signs of calm, with 400 confirmed cases for three days in a row, but the steps to take the distance to apply next week will be announced tomorrow.

Amidst this, it was confirmed that a bunch of other mutant viruses from the U.S. followed by mutant viruses from the UK and South Africa, which are more contagious than the existing Corona 19, took an emergency.

There are 465 new cases of Corona 19 in Korea.

The aftermath of the outbreak of foreigners at the Anseong Livestock Products Tribunal in Anseong, Gyeonggi-do and the outbreak of foreigners in Dongducheon, recorded 400 people on the third day.

The government does not see a rapid increase in the size of the confirmed cases, but it is on the rise, so it is expected to observe the trend until tomorrow and announce the steps of distancing to apply next week.

In addition to the COVID-19 mutant virus from the UK, South Africa, and Brazil, it has been confirmed that mutant viruses from the United States have also occurred in Korea.

Since October last year, the number of mutant viruses confirmed in Korea has exceeded 200 cases, of which 71 cases from California and New York in the United States, and four cases from the United Kingdom and Nigeria have been identified in all 75 cases.

In addition, as mutant viruses were found in 11 cases of group infections in local communities, there is a growing concern about spreading in Korea.

In order to curb the spread of the mutant virus in the region, the quarantine authorities have decided to significantly strengthen inspections on self-isolation of foreign immigrants.

In addition, over 20,000 air crew members who travel abroad frequently but are subject to self-isolation exceptions, which may be vulnerable to the influx of mutant viruses, were included as targets for vaccination in the second quarter.

In addition, we plan to develop vaccine strategies against mutant viruses by monitoring the effectiveness and development status of each vaccine against mutant viruses.
