The number of new corona 19 confirmed cases in Korea has risen to 600 again.

There were confirmed cases in all 17 trials.

Korea has suffered a total of three pandemics.

After the Shincheonji crisis in February of last year, a chain infection from Sarangjeil Church in the middle of the summer, and the third pandemic at the end of the year, it is evaluated that it is now on the threshold of a new fourth epidemic.

If you look at the confirmed trend after the third epidemic by narrowing it down a bit, you can see that the situation is more serious than in the past.

With more than 1,200 confirmed cases on Christmas Day last year, the spread did not sharply decline even after it peaked.

As you can see, it has steadily maintained the 3-4 hundred mark for over two months.

This is why concerns are raised that the 4th outbreak could lead to an explosive spread on a larger scale than in the past.

As the number of confirmed cases increases, the key indicator of distance adjustment has worsened.

The average local outbreak per day for a week exceeded 500 yesterday.

It has been 80 days since mid-January.

And today it has increased from 500.6 to 523.9.

It has exceeded the upper limit of step 2.5 for two days in a row.

The steps to keep distance, which will be applied from next week, will be announced on the 9th.

In fact, there is a prospect that a step up is inevitable.

In addition, risk factors such as the spread of the mutant virus and the increase in the amount of movement in spring were also numerous, and eventually the government decided to tighten the reins of quarantine even more.
