[사회][단독] Jeonbuk LH’s’Gwangmyeong-Siheung Expedition’… to relatives and local residents

As a senior LH executive, who served as the head of the Jeonbuk headquarters, made an extreme choice last week, attention is being drawn to the’Gwangmyeong-Siheung expedition’ of its employees.

As a result of YTN’s coverage, it was discovered that not only employees in the Jeonbuk region, but also relatives and local residents started speculating on expeditions.

Only the land that appears to be speculative has 7 lots and more than 4 billion won worth of quotes.

The land of Noonsa-dong, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, designated as a new city.

This is where Mr. A, an employee of LH’s Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters, bought it with his wife in February 2018.

However, on the same day, 2,600 square meters of land right next to it were also traded.

4 people bought it together for 880 million won, and 3 of them have similar names as if they were sisters.

As a result of YTN’s coverage, the three were found to be relatives of another employee B, who worked at LH’s Jeonbuk Regional Headquarters.

Mr. B bought the land in Noonsa-dong with his wife in December 2019, and is now a target of police investigation.

His wife, along with Mr. C, who is also B’s eldest brother and a former LH employee, bought another land just a kilometer away.

In just one to two years, LH’s Jeonbuk Headquarters employees as well as his wife and relatives purchased the land for the Gwangmyeong and Siheung new town development sites one after another.

In particular, even residents living in the same neighborhood were caught in expedition speculation.

Just a month after B’s relatives, the three sisters bought the land, four people bought the land in Noonsa-dong, about 2km away.

All four residences are in Jeonju, Jeonbuk.

According to the papers, two of them live in the same apartment as the employee B, and the others live in the same apartment and building as one of the three sisters.

From employees to local residents, all seven sites suspected of expedition to the Gwangmyeong and Siheung new towns are worth over 4 billion won worth of market loans.

Police are looking into whether the executive was involved in the suspicion as the period of the dead high-ranking executive’s tenure as head of the Jeonbuk headquarters and the timing of the employees’ speculation overlap.

Along with this, it seems necessary to further investigate whether there was information inside the LH during the expedition, how it was purchased, and relatives and residents.
