The city of Seoul has issued the first stage of snow removal from 0 o’clock today, and is spreading snow removal agents everywhere.

In Gwanghwamun area, it started snowing an hour ago.

The snow that was invisible at first turned into strong snow in a short time.

You can see citizens rushing to come and go with umbrellas spreading out everywhere.

Here in Seoul, a heavy snow warning has been issued from 9 am,

Northwest regions such as Gimpo, Goyang, and Paju, Gyeonggi-do, and Incheon, have already been dropped from 8:30.

The Meteorological Agency explained that even within the same area, the amount of snowfall can be significantly different depending on the upper temperature.

When the snow stops, the temperature drops from the afternoon.

It is predicted that the expected temperature in Seoul will drop below -12 degrees Celsius, and the perceived temperature will drop below -20 degrees Celsius by the day after tomorrow.

Snow falling in one day can freeze through the afternoon, so there is a risk that the way home from work turns into ice.

The city of Seoul issued the first stage of snow removal from 0 o’clock today and entered the emergency work system.

Currently, CCTVs are used throughout the region to detect signs, and snow removal agents are being sprayed around vulnerable roads such as alleyways and steep slopes.

In addition, we are preparing for use by urgent residents in advance by preparing snow removal agents and equipment in snow removal boxes provided throughout the road so that there is no difficulty in performing snow removal directly.

Fortunately, traffic is relatively smooth as the snow falls after 9 am, the rush hour.

However, in the case of Seoul, snow removal work is being carried out on various roads including Songpa-daero, Jangji Bridge, and it is expected to be partially controlled.
