Trainer Hyung-wook Kang shared his regret about the unpaid situation of’dogs are great’. He showed special affection for the program and hoped that the situation would be well organized so that the broadcast could continue for a long time.

Recently, it has been known that animal trainer Kang Hyung-wook, broadcasters Lee Gyeong-gyu, and Jang Do-yeon, who are the performers of KBS 2TV’s entertainment program’Dogs are great’ (hereinafter,’Dogs are great’), have not received several appearance fees. It is reported that not only the cast, but also the outsourcing staff were in arrears.

KBS paid all production costs, but it was confirmed that the performance fees were not paid due to the management circumstances of the outsourced production company (Coen Media). Accordingly, KBS announced that it is in the process of canceling the contract with the corresponding production company and selecting a new outsourced production company, and that it will ensure that there will be no disruption in broadcasting as much as possible.

Among them, Hyung-wook Kang said in a phone call with YTN star on the 13th, “If I work, it may or may not be like that, but it is a pity that there are other people who have not received not only me,” he said. “Apart from the large amount of money and the small amount, I have a separate job. There is no obstacle to their livelihood, but I am upset when I think of those who have a direct connection to their livelihoods,” he said.

He said, “I am very sorry for my heart as well as Lee Kyung-gyu’s brother. The director, writers and other production crew are all working hard. If I have money, I would like to give it to you. It is sad to think that the production crew who always do their best did not get paid properly.” He said that he conveyed a bitter feeling.

The reason this situation is even more sad is that I have a lot of love for the program. Kang Hyung-wook said, “Even if I paid a lot of admission fees, I wouldn’t have done it if it was a compelling program. The production crew came to me from the planning stage and came to me with sincerity, and Lee Kyung-gyu’s elder brother served as a support. While doing’Dog Great’, it was completed one by one as if it were a puzzle. I felt like I was going. I don’t know when the puzzle will be completed, but I thought I wanted to keep it together for a long time,” he said, expressing his special love for the program.

At the same time, he laughed, saying, “It’s a program I want to do even if I don’t get paid. I’m actually doing it even though I’m not getting paid.”

Since then, Hyung-wook Kang said, “I did a few dog-related programs, but it is not easy to meet the production crew who match the atmosphere and breath from the perspective of the experts.
