Shortly after taking office on the 20th, US President-elect Joe Biden will “erase Trump” through massive administrative measures that overturn President Donald Trump’s policy, said Ron Klein, chief of the White House secretary.

According to CNBC broadcasting on the 17th (local time), the Klein nominee announced this ’10th plan’ along with a notice on the first day of Biden’s inauguration through a memo sent to reporters on the day. Corona 19, economic downturn, racial discrimination, and climate change are called the ‘4 major crises’ and plan to take immediate action immediately after the inauguration speech.

First of all, on the first day, the 20th, it plans to sign 12 measures, including re-joining the Paris Climate Agreement, lifting the ban on travel to Islamic countries, making it mandatory to wear masks, and expanding restrictions on eviction and seizure of tenants.

The next day, along with measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus, such as expanding corona 19 screenings, an administrative order will be signed to allow schools and businesses to reopen. On the 22nd, it plans to instruct the Cabinet on economic relief measures to support families in crisis.

Community support programs that have been marginalized, such as people of color, will also begin next week. Response to climate change, expansion of access to medical services, and restoration of immigration policies are also priorities.

However, there was no mention of re-joining the World Health Organization (WHO) in the plan on the 10th, the US media outlet VOX pointed out. Biden has pledged to return to the WHO, where President Trump withdrew when he took office during his campaign.

“We are facing a complex of four crises: the spread of Corona 19 and the resulting economic crisis, climate crisis, and racial discrimination,” said Klein. “Elect Biden solved this crisis in the first 10 days of taking office and caused additional damage. And take steps to restore America’s role in the world.”
