This is a special event of the 22nd Nongshim Shin Ramyun Cup World Baduk Championship, held before the 3rd round of the tournament. It will take place on the 24th in the second round.

In Korea, the 9th Dan Cho Hun-Hyun of the’Emperor of Baduk’ and the 9th Dan Lee Chang-ho of the’Dol Buddha’ will appear. Cho Hun-hyun, who played five times in the Nongshim Shin Ramyun Cup, scored 4-5, and Lee Chang-ho, 9-dan, which has the most appearances among Korean players with 13 times, is recording 19-3. In particular, the 9th Dan of Lee Chang-ho recorded the most wins in the Nongshim Shin Ramyun Boat Finals, and also confirmed eight of the twelve victories in Korea, including the sixth tournament famous for the’Shanghai Grand Challenge’.

Lee Chang-ho said, “The last participation in the Nongshim Shin Ramyun Cup was in 2012, and it is an honor to be able to come back to the event after 9 years. Thank you to Nongshim for making this fun competition. Even if you are not in heyday, you will be impressed by this event. I will do my best to reproduce it.”

China’s Nye Weiping 9th and Changhao 9th, Japan’s Kobayashi Koichi and Yoda Norimoto 9th are ahead.

This tournament, which is held as a national competition league, will be played as an online match at the competition halls prepared in each country. Each country will be confronted twice, with a total of 12 nations. The ranking is determined in the order of the countries with the most individual multipliers, and in the case of a tie, the country with the most multipliers in the captain match wins.

Round 1 of the 1st round, which will be held on the 15th as a confrontation between Korea and China, will face Jo Hun-Hyun 9th vs. Changhao 9th, and Lee Changho 9th vs. Nye Waping 9th. On the 16th, Nye Waiping 9 Dan vs. Yoda Norimoto 9 Dan, Chang Hao 9 Dan vs Kobayashi Koichi 9 Dan will be held. The Korea-Japan war takes place.

The 2nd round will be played by swapping players in the first round with Korea and Japan on the 22nd, China and Japan on the 23rd, and Korea and China on the 24th.
