
‘Apple Yeouido’, the second Apple store in Korea, will officially open at 10 am on the 26th. Apple Yeouido, located on the L1 floor of the IFC Mall in Yeouido, is designed so that the store can be seen through transparent glass walls like Apple’s Garosu-gil.
On the 24th, prior to the opening day, Apple removed the screening of the site and opened the store for the first time to the media. The Apple logo, which was painted on the screen of the site, is a designer work by Seok Yoon, a custom logo that reflects the characteristics of Apple’s Yeouido. Apple explained that the logo was inspired by the high-rise buildings in Yeouido and expressed the changes of the island and various cultural features.

Upon entering the store, Apple employees greeted them with applause and cheers. When entering the store entrance, you can see the iPad and Apple Watch first. On each side are the iPhone and the AirPods Max, which are headphones. At each end are the’Genius Bar’ and the MacBook, where Apple employees provide personalized advice and technical support for devices.

On both walls, accessories and third-party products, including the wireless charger MaxSafe, are on display.



Apple Yeouido is the same area as Apple’s Garosu-gil. As you enter the store, you will see a forum space where you can participate in the’Today at Apple’ session in the innermost center. Like Apple’s Garosu-gil, chairs are prepared on a large screen. Customers can learn how to use Apple devices and more here.
On that day, Apple held a’Today at Apple’ session with reporters here. We introduced how to take slow motion with the iPhone, and how to shoot videos that make use of details by zooming in. According to Apple, more than thousands of’Today at Apple’ programs have been conducted on Apple Garosu-gil. Apple’s Today at Apple program in Yeouido can be booked through the Apple website.


The Apple Yeouido team consists of a total of 117 people. In addition, the service is provided in 6 languages for foreign customers. Apple explained, “With the opening of Apple’s Yeouido, the number of people who will provide services to domestic customers has more than doubled since the opening of Garosu-gil,” and said, “This will further expand and strengthen the services provided to customers.”

Apple Yeouido provides almost the same service as Apple’s Garosu-gil. However, unlike Apple’s Garosu-gil, there is no’board room’. Boardroom, a space for business customers, is a space where you can introduce the latest Apple products and receive product recommendations from experts. Apple has a corresponding space in the basement of Yeouido, but there is no boardroom in Apple’s Yeouido.
Apple will open Apple Yeouido at 10 am on the 26th. On the day of opening, admission is only possible with 100% reservation. Customers who want to visit the store can enter after selecting a visit time on the Apple website and making a reservation. Reservations are non-transferable and can only be made up to one person at a time.
