This is the result of a full investigation of the actual land transactions in 7 dongs in Gwangmyeong and Siheung from January 2018 to last month by Kwak Sang-do, a member of the People’s Strength Real Estate Speculation Investigation Special Committee on the 10th. Some of these may include ordinary people with the same name as an LH employee. However, 15 former and current employees who purchased land in the designated area of ​​the 3rd new city have already been caught in a similar manner, and an additional 10 people are being investigated.

74 suspected LH employees purchased land before the 3rd new city designation, and 64 transactions were involved. Of the co-owned parcels that appear to be’split the stake’, there were 10 (22) parcels with two or more names of LH employees. The total area of ​​the parcels traded is 31,073 square meters, which is larger than the size of four soccer fields. The land purchase cost was about 11.8 billion won, and it was found that 46% of the total amount, or 5.48 billion won, was covered by loans.

They visited Unit Nonghyup, mainly two financial sectors, such as Gwangmyeong Nonghyup Soha, Gwangmyeong Station, Gwangbuk Branch, and Bucheon Livestock Association Sangil and Southern Branch to obtain loans. Unit Agricultural Cooperatives have a relatively higher interest rate than banknotes, but have the advantage of being able to maximize the limit due to their low loan threshold. In the transaction where speculation suspicion was raised earlier, it was investigated that most of the LH employees received loans from the North Siheung Nonghyup.

A parcel in Noonsa-dong, which was purchased by two suspected LH employees with one acquaintance, took place on February 1, just before the 2·4 real estate measures were announced.

In addition, as speculation suspicions were raised earlier, people who were presumed to be married and had the same place of residence and surname were also listed as joint ownership. Although he did not directly participate in the transaction, there were cases where it was suspected that he had made a transaction by borrowing the name of an acquaintance or family member by posting his name on the registered copy as a’debtor’.
