Class A confidential documents were included, but the verification of the so-called preliminary planning theory of the new military unit Chun Doo-hwan has begun.

The NIS handed over 17 important reports and 204 photos prepared by the Central Intelligence Agency, including this photo, to the 5.18 Fact-Investigation Committee.

It was revealed that the amount of the important report was 832 pages, but as a result of SBS coverage, it was confirmed that the documents were reported by the Central Intelligence Agency to the Blue House from December 1979 to December 1980 in secret confidentiality.

It is known that a number of classified A-class documents, which are the highest security level, are also included.

It seems that we will be able to grasp the authenticity of the new military’s preliminary planning theory for May 18, which continued to be controversial about what reports were posted to the Blue House six months before the May 18 outbreak.

A government official said, “The fact-finding committee is already analyzing the documents from May 20 to June 4, 1980 that it received from the NIS,” and said, “These documents are completely new.”

The Fact-Investigation Committee said it would immediately begin analyzing the data that were handed over.
