[단독] ‘Na Eun-i and Kun-hoo’s father’ Park Joo-ho leaves Ulsan and has a bird nest in Suwon FC

According to soccer sources, Park Joo-ho’s destination for the 2021 season was set to Suwon FC. Park Joo-ho left Ulsan Hyundai to take on the second challenge in the K-League at the promoted team Suwon FC.

Park Joo-ho, a graduate of Soongsil University, wore the Japanese J2 League Mito Holly Hawk uniform before the 2008 season. After passing through Kashima Antlers and Jubilo Iwata, in the summer of 2011, he moved to FC Basel in the Swiss League.

After two successful seasons at Basel, he moved to the German Bundesliga Mainz in the summer of 2013. In Mainz, he played a great role between the left-handed defender and the central midfielder, and in the summer of 2015, he headed for the Bundesliga stronghold Dortmund.

In December 2017, Park Joo-ho, who mutually terminated the contract with Dortmund, decided to go to the K-League and signed a four-year contract with Ulsan. He was active in Ulsan for the third season and played eight games in the Asian Champions League, which just ended last December, contributing to Ulsan’s victory.

Leaving a successful Ulsan life behind, Park Joo-ho takes on a new challenge. The destination is Suwon FC. One top-ranked corporate team and one metropolitan citizen’s team showed interest over Park Joo-ho, but Suwon FC, which has more opportunities to participate, is decided as Park Joo-ho’s next destination.

Suwon FC has already succeeded in recruiting Yun Young-sun, Yang Dong-hyun, and Kim Sang-won one after another and is building a solid power. As Kim Sang-won plays in the position of the left defender, Park Joo-ho is expected to demonstrate his’multiplayer’ temperament by switching between the defensive midfielder and the left defender.

Park Joo-ho, who is in self-quarantine in Korea after the ACL, will be released from quarantine at noon on the 3rd. After self-isolation, the transfer is expected to begin.
