Jang Yong-joon (21, stage name Noel), the son of a member of the National Power Jang Je-won (Busan Sasang), who was sentenced to imprisonment last year for changing drivers after a drunk driving accident, is controversial this time because he is involved in the assault controversy.

According to a report from the Busan Ilbo, Jang bumped his arm and body against the side mirror of a vehicle passing by while walking down the street in Seomyeon, Busanjin-gu, Busan at 1 am on the 26th.

Mr. Jang had an argument with Mr. A, the driver of the vehicle, and it spread into an argument. During the argument, Jang spit on Mr. A’s face and pushed his chest.

Currently, it is known that Mr. A is claiming to have been unilaterally assaulted by Mr. Jang. On the contrary, it is reported that Jang claims that “I was also beaten”.

The police are reported to be planning to conduct further investigations against Jang and A.

An official at the Busanjin Police Station in Busan said, “As it is a case under investigation, we cannot inform the details of the case.”

Meanwhile, Jang was sentenced to 1 year and 6 months in prison and 2 years probation under the Seoul Western District Law in June of last year. I was also ordered to take a 40-hour compliance driving class.

In September 2019, Jang injured a motorcyclist in an accident while driving on a road near Gwangheungchang Station in Mapo-gu, Seoul with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.12%, which is the level of license cancellation. Immediately after the accident, Jang contacted an acquaintance and attempted to “change” the driver, and was turned over to trial when it was revealed to the insurance company that Mr. A had falsely reported a traffic accident that he had an accident while driving.

At that time, Mr. Jang was handed over to trial on charges of △violation of the Act on Specific Crimes (Dangerous Driving), △Road Traffic Law (Drunken Driving) △Criminal Escape Teacher △Violation of the Special Insurance Fraud Prevention Act.
