[단독] Beom-gye Park notifies of seizure seven times for violation of traffic laws

It has been confirmed that the candidate Park Bum-gye was temporarily seized seven times for violations of traffic laws. Even a month ago, a vehicle was seized for arrears of fines.

According to Candidate Park’s’Automotive Register’ submitted by the Ministry of Land, Transport and Maritime Affairs to the Office of the National Assembly’s Legislative and Judicial Committee Cho Su-jin, Park’s New Grandeur XG and Carnival vehicle were seized seven times.

Candidate Park held the New Grandeur XG for about 8 years from November 28, 2002 to October 6, 2010. All five vehicles were seized during this period. Carnival held for about 10 years from October 5, 2010 to December 17, 2020. Both carnival vehicles were seized twice. On July 10, 2015, he was seized by the Daejeon Seo-gu Office for a parking violation, and on December 7, 2020, only a month ago, he was seized by the Daejeon Dunsan Police Station for arrears of the fine.

When this fact became known, it was pointed out that candidate Park had neglected his duty to pay the tax enough to be notified of vehicle seizure even though he was a member of the National Assembly.

Congressman Cho said, “It was revealed that Park’s vehicle was seized until last month for non-payment of the fine. Candidate Park should explain why the vehicle was registered for seizure.”
