[단독] 13 out of 14 is’Kakao Taxi’… Confirmed’call focus’

Kakao T, a taxi calling app that has emphasized win-win growth, recently launched a paid service that allows drivers to receive calls first. It is 99,000 won per month. And in three days, 20,000 people flocked on a first-come, first-served basis. Taxi drivers say that it is because they have already experienced calling only to taxis operated by or affiliated with Kakao T. The reporters checked, but 13 out of 14 actually did.

It’s around 1 a.m., where people are rare due to social distancing.

In Sangam-dong, Seoul, there are a line of taxis to pick up passengers leaving the office at the broadcasting station.

With the help of taxi drivers, I kept calling 2 affiliated taxis paying a fee to Kakao and 18 non-affiliated regular taxis.

When you call a taxi with a’normal call’ that can catch any taxi, the call goes directly to the member vehicle.

The second is also the same.

The 18 mobile phones in a regular taxi are quiet.

A taxi in another location was caught, but it was also a member taxi with the Kakao logo on it.

Even though regular taxis are waiting in line in front of you, a Kakao taxi in a distant place was caught.

Except for 1 out of 14, 13 were dispatched to Kakao Blue Taxi.

There was only one call to 18 standard car cell phones.

Even this, dispatching was completed in an instant.

How about a new service that lets you set your preferred destination by paying 99,000 won per month?

Even though there are 3 general taxis with priority dispatch in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, when you call’Namyangju City Hall’, they are dispatched to Kakao Blue.

After the experiment, I call a taxi again to go home.

Several taxis are waiting in line.

None of these taxis have been dispatched to me.

After waiting for about 2 minutes, I passed the empty taxis and arrived with a taxi, a cacao, etc.

Kakao T says that it is difficult to prove illegal dispatch because several factors affect the dispatch.
