The Busan Ilbo met A, a man in his 20s, who claimed to have been assaulted by Jang Yong-jun (21, stage name Noel), the son of Rep. Jang Je-won (Busan Sasang), who was involved in the assault case late on the 26th. Mr. A claimed that Jang spit in his face and pushed his chest, saying, “Do you know who I am?” and said something that seemed to wish for his position and status. It was also confirmed that Jang was in a drinking state.

Mr. A said, “I was unilaterally assaulted and abused by Mr. Jang,” and “I plan to sue the woman who was with Mr. Jang at the time.” Currently, it is known that Jang is alleging that it is a bilateral assault.

According to Mr. A, at 1 am on the 26th, Mr. A parked his carnival van on the sidewalk next to the one-way street on a one-way near Bujeon Library in Busanjin-gu, Busan, and stood on the stairs of a nearby building. Jang and a woman were walking next to Mr. A’s vehicle. Jang suddenly pushed the side mirror on the driver’s seat of Mr. A with his right arm.

Mr. A approached Mr. Jang and asked him to apologize, saying, “Why are you hitting my car and passing by?” However, Jang did not apologize and swear words to Mr. A. As the argument between Mr. Jang and Mr. A intensified, Mr. Jang told Mr. A, “I don’t know who I am.” Mr. A insisted that Mr. Jang said, “call an account, I’ll give you money,” as if he would solve the situation with money.

Eventually, Jang spit on Mr. A’s face twice, and pushed A’s chest with his hand. At the time, Mr. Jang was not wearing a mask. In the process, Mr. A injured both hands.

Mr. A’s acquaintance who watched this scene immediately reported to 112. Five minutes later, the police arrived at the scene, and the police officer who was dispatched separated Mr. A and Mr. Jang. Mr. A insisted that Mr. Jang continued to pour out severe insults against him even in the process of being held by the police.

Mr. A explained the situation at the time, “Mr. Jang seemed to be drinking alcohol at the time of the incident, and his legs were bent and he could not properly control his body.”

Mr. A strongly denied the assault of both sides claimed by Mr. Jang. Mr. A said, “I was concerned about the assault throughout the process of being unilaterally assaulted by Mr. Jang, and I talked with my hands back.”

Mr. A plans to sue Jang and one acquaintance to the police next week. Mr. A is scheduled to attend the Busanjin Police Station on the 3rd of next month to be investigated. Mr. A said, “As there is no fact that there was no violence, we will explain the case process and submit evidence in the police investigation.” Mr. A also insisted, “I have no intention of advocating Jang.”

The Busan Ilbo tried to contact Jang’s Instagram to hear Jang’s position, but Jang’s account had been turned to private. Jang’s father, Rep. Jang Je-won, also left a phone call and text message, but could not hear the position.
