[날씨] Weekend, cold wave from the North Pole continues… West Coast, Jeju’snow’

It was a week in which the Korean peninsula froze completely as the Arctic cold wave began to rise. On the coming weekend, the morning temperature will still be around -15℃, and snow will continue to fall in Jeju Island, the west coast, and Ulleungdo Island.

Kweather, a private meteorological company, said, “Saturday (9th), Korea will be affected by the cold continental high pressure that is expanding in northern China.” It will come, and the west coast will stop in the morning after it snows.”

“Sunday (10th) will be affected by the pneumatic valley that advances southeast near Balhae Bay,” he said. “With the nation gradually getting more clouds, the Jeolla West Coast, Jeju Island, Ulleungdo, and Dokdo will gradually clear after snow or rain, Inland, there may be places where snow falls sporadically during the day.”

Saturday morning’s minimum temperature will be -24℃ to -7℃, and daytime maximum temperature will be -8℃ to 1℃. On Sunday, the morning’s lowest -20℃ to -5℃, the daytime highest -4℃ to 4 degrees, 2-4℃ higher than the previous day, but it will still be cold.

The concentration of fine dust in the atmosphere will be in the’good’ to’normal’ stage due to the smooth circulation of the atmosphere across the country. The atmosphere will be very dry in the metropolitan area and some areas of Gangwon-do and Gyeongsang-do.

As the wind blows very strongly at 35~70km/h (10~20m/s), the waves of the sea will rise as high as 5m in the west and south seas.

Meanwhile, the cold wave that froze the whole country will continue next week, but the temperature will temporarily rise from the 13th to the 15th and the cold will slow down. It will snow or rain on the west coast of Jeonnam and Jeju Island, and mostly only clouds in other areas.
