On the 11th, the first day of the Lunar New Year holidays, the whole country is generally sunny and the weather will be warm during the day. The lowest temperature in the morning was -5 to 2 degrees, and the highest temperature in the daytime was predicted to be 8 to 15 degrees.

The daytime temperature gradually rises until the 12th, which is the day of the New Year, and it is predicted that most regions of the country will be warmer than normal. However, as the morning temperature drops below zero, mainly in the inland area, the daily temperature difference is likely to be large.

Between the night of the 10th and the morning of the 11th, thick fog with a visibility distance of 200m or less may form on the west coast, the central inland, and northern Gyeongbuk. In particular, it is expected that there will be very dense fog with a visibility distance of 10m or less at dawn when the temperature on the ground decreases.

In the central region (excluding Yeongdong, Gangwon) and inland northern Gyeongbuk, the temperature drops below zero at night and the water vapor in the thick fog freezes, causing thin ice on the road.

The concentration of fine dust is expected to be poor in Seoul, Incheon, southern Gyeonggi, Sejong, and Chungbuk, and normal in other areas. However, North Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon Yeongseo, Daejeon, Chungnam, Gwangju, Jeonbuk, and Daegu may temporarily soar to badness at night.

The atmosphere will be very dry in Yeongdong, Gangwon, and some of the Gyeongsangbuk-do, Gyeongnam, and eastern Jeollanam-dos, where the drying warning took effect.

The waves of the sea will rise from 0.5 to 1 m off the east sea, 0.5 m off the west sea, and 0.5 to 1 m off the south sea. The wave height of the far sea is expected to be 0.5 to 2 m in the east sea, 0.5 to 1 m in the west sea, and 0.5 to 1.5 m in the south sea.
