As smog from China enters the atmosphere, the concentration of ultra-fine dust is soaring.

In the metropolitan area, for the first time in this spring,’Emergency reduction measures for high-concentration fine dust’ were imposed.

Chinese smog added to the morning mist.

The concentration of fine dust and ultrafine dust is increasing at the same time.

In the metropolitan area and Chungcheong provinces, the concentration of ultra-fine dust soared to around 100 ㎍ at one time during the day.

It is about 2 to 5 times the usual level.

The average concentration of ultrafine dust per day also exceeded 50㎍, the standard for issuing emergency reduction measures.

It seems that the ultrafine dust will get thicker during the night.

Accordingly,’Emergency Reduction Measures for Highly Concentrated Fine Dust’ were issued for the first time in Seoul and other metropolitan areas this spring.

Emergency reduction measures will be in effect from 6 am tomorrow.

Operation of vehicles with Class 5 emission is restricted, and operations and construction sites that emit fine dust must shorten or adjust the operation.

However, the enforcement of the second subsidiary system for administrative and public vehicles will be temporarily suspended due to the corona effect.

Even if the emergency reduction measures are temporarily lifted, fine dust in the metropolitan area is expected to remain dense until this weekend.
