Through the darkness and cold waves, the sun burning red rises.

The dynamic first year of the new year seems to deliver new hope.

If you look at the image of the Cheonrian 2A satellite, the sun is bright as it moves from the sea in the southeast to the northwest.

However, the first sunrise could not be seen due to snow clouds in some parts of the west.

The momentum of the cold wave that started from the end of last year was still the same.

The mountains in Gangwon-do recorded -20 degrees below zero, 15.9 degrees below zero in Cheorwon and 9.8 degrees below zero in Seoul.

This cold wave is not resolved and is expected to continue until next week.

This is because the temperature rises slightly from the weekend to the beginning of next week, but then the temperature drops again.

Particularly in the second half of next week, a strong cold wave, when the temperature in Seoul drops to -15 degrees Celsius is expected to raging.

It is the strongest cold for this winter.

Arctic cold waves last more than ten days from the first day of the new year.

Snow on the west coast is also weakened for a while, and there is concern that it will be poured into snow bombs after mid-week.

The Meteorological Administration called for preliminary preparation, saying that this cold wave and heavy snow will result in damage to facilities such as freeze, livestock, and greenhouse collapse.
