Yes, the new year has begun, but it is expected that the cold below normal temperatures will continue this week.

This morning, the temperature in Seoseok-myeon, Hongcheon, Gangwon-do, dropped to -18.7 degrees Celsius, as well as -14.7 degrees in Paju and 9.1 degrees in Seoul.

The sub-zero cold will continue even in the middle of the day, and the colder weather than usual is expected to continue tomorrow, the first way to go to work.

Seoul morning temperature is expected to be -8 degrees and -7 degrees the day after tomorrow.

Especially from the afternoon of the day after Tuesday, the temperature will drop sharply as the second cold season in the north goes south.

From the middle to the second half of the week, a stronger cold wave is expected than last week.

The coldest weather will come this winter as the temperature in the morning of Seoul plummets to -11 degrees on Wednesday and -14 degrees on Thursday and -16 degrees on Friday.

In particular, the temperature experienced by the cold wind will stay below -20 degrees Celsius, and a strong cold wave is expected to stay around -10 degrees Celsius even in the middle of the day.

First of all, there may be places where snow falls around the west coast in the cold today, and tomorrow, Monday, it is expected to snow in the central and western regions such as the metropolitan area from night.

This snow is expected to continue until Tuesday morning. The snowfall is around 1cm, but there is a high possibility that the ice will form until the morning on Tuesday’s commute to work due to subzero temperatures, so preparation is necessary.

After that, from Wednesday to Sunday when the temperature drops significantly, a lot of snow will continue in Chungcheong and Honam Jeju Island.

From Wednesday afternoon to Thursday morning, snow is expected to expand into the metropolitan area and Yeongseo region.
