The momentum of the cold wave that has come to the end of 2020 is amazing.

The temperature in Seoul, which dropped to 12.4 degrees below zero this morning, is still staying at 9.4 degrees below zero.

The wind blows strongly, and the sensory temperature drops to -16 degrees below zero.

On the way home from work, the weather gets colder than it is now, so please pay attention not only to warm coats, but also to cold protection items such as scarves and gloves.

Currently, a’cold wave warning’ is in effect in northeastern Gyeonggi and Gangwon, and a’cold wave warning’ is in effect in other central and northern regions of Gyeongbuk.

Tomorrow morning will be as cold as today.

The morning temperature will be -19 degrees below zero in Daegwallyeong, 17 degrees below zero in Paju, and 12 degrees below zero in Seoul.

Even in the daytime, the subzero cold will continue in the wind.

The daytime temperature in Seoul will be 4 degrees below zero, 1 degrees below zero in Daejeon and 1 degree in Daegu, 3-4 degrees higher than today.

Snow is falling on the west coast of Chungnam, Honam and Jeju Island amid the strong cold.

A’heavy snow warning’ was issued in the interior of Honam and Jeju, and a’heavy snow warning’ was issued in the Chungcheong area.

Until the day after tomorrow, the first day of the year, more than 50cm of snow will fall in many mountainous areas of Jeju and more than 30cm of snow in western Honam.

Snow will pour strongly around the west coast until dawn tomorrow.

Damage is easy to occur at night during the vulnerable time, so please pay attention to the management of outdoor facilities such as green houses.

The biting cold wave will continue until the beginning of the year.
