In the afternoon, rain clouds developed strongly, and the rains became quite strong.
In the Chungnam and Honam regions, there is a rather strong rain of about 10mm per hour.
In particular, in the northern mountainous areas of Gangwon, there has been a lot of snow, about 15 cm long, from this morning until now.
Today and tomorrow, the roads will be very slippery due to rain or snow, and there will be places that form ice on the way to work tomorrow.
Please be careful not to slip accidents for both drivers and pedestrians.
If you look at the detailed radar image, rain clouds from the west sea are currently covering the whole country.
A’heavy snow warning’ is in effect in the mountainous areas of Jeju, where strong rain of around 25mm per hour is concentrated, and a’heavy snow warning’ has been issued in the northern mountainous areas of Gangwon, and a’heavy snow warning’ has also been issued in Yeongdong, Gangwon-do.
Until tomorrow, there will be a lot of rain of 100mm or more in the eastern part of Gyeonggi Province, Gangwon-do, and many mountainous areas of Jeju, and 20~80mm of rain in other areas such as Seoul.
Especially, heavy snowfall of 50cm or more will pour in Yeongdong, Gangwon, where the temperature is low, and up to 15cm in Yeongseo.
From night, it will snow a little in the metropolitan area such as Seoul and northern Gyeongbuk.
Although this snow is large in quantity, it is relatively heavy, so please prepare thoroughly to avoid damage from facility collapse.
Rain will start to stop in the western area tomorrow morning, and in the morning it will show a lull in most areas except the east coast.
Afterwards, cold air flows in, and the temperature in the morning of Seoul on Wednesday will drop to -2 degrees Celsius.
Fortunately, the cold will subside from the day after tomorrow, and the weather is expected to be warmer than usual.
The wind with rain is also emergency.
From this afternoon to tomorrow, strong winds of around 20m per second will blow around the Yeongnam coast and Jeju Island.
Some strong winds will blow in other areas as well.
Please pay special attention to facility management.
