Fine dust is expected to be resolved with a cold wind blowing from tomorrow afternoon.

Is the sky still hazy?

Due to the fine dust, the cloudy sky is not getting better even in the afternoon.

It doesn’t rain coolly, and dust is piled up as the atmosphere is stagnant.

Currently, the concentration of ultrafine dust in Seoul is 61 micrograms, showing a bad stage.

The metropolitan area and Chungcheong, Honam and Gyeongbuk provinces are also soaring from bad to very bad.

Ultrafine dust warnings are issued in the metropolitan area such as Seoul and western regions such as Chungcheong and Jeonbuk.

In the metropolitan area and Chungcheong provinces, emergency measures to reduce fine dust were also issued for the first time in this year.

As a result, the operating hours of businesses and construction sites with a lot of fine dust emissions are shortened until 9 pm tonight, and outdoor events organized by cities and autonomous regions are also prohibited.

Currently, slight rain is falling on the southern coast and Jeju Island.

In the late afternoon, rain will spread to Chungcheong and southern regions, and to the metropolitan area and Yeongseo region at night.

However, the amount of rain is small, so it cannot eliminate fine dust.

The expected amount of rain is 10 to 30 mm on the southern coast of Jeonnam and the coast of Yeongnam and Jeju Island, and around 5 mm in other regions.

From tomorrow afternoon, a cold wind blows from the north and fine dust will be removed.

Instead, the weather gets colder.

Tomorrow’s daytime temperature will drop from 2 degrees to 10 degrees from today to 3 degrees in Seoul, 6 degrees in Daejeon, 7 degrees in Gwangju and 9 degrees in Daegu.

On Wednesday morning, a cold wave of around -10 degrees Celsius is expected to come.

On the last day of the holiday, a warm but high concentration of fine dust covers the sky.

Today, it would be better to wear a KF 80 or higher fine dust mask.
