The WHO’s immunization advisory group’Expert Strategic Advisory Group’ (SAGE) has said it can increase the interval between modders and vaccines.

It is best to keep the same 4 weeks (28 days) as in the clinical trial, but the exception is that the second vaccination can be increased up to 6 weeks (42 days) after the first vaccination.

However, it was not recommended to reduce the dose of vaccine and to inoculate during pregnancy and lactation.

Earlier this month, the advisory group recommended an exception to the Pfizer vaccine, which could increase the interval.

Modena and Pfizer vaccines are given the first dose and usually 3 to 4 weeks after the second dose to increase efficacy and persistence.

Due to the lack of scientific evidence and data, the results of widening inoculation intervals remain unknown.

South Africa’s President Ramaposa criticized the vaccination stocking, as developed countries preemptively preoccupy vaccines with high preventive effects.

In a video speech on the Davos Forum, he argued, “If there is a country that has not been vaccinated, the country that received the vaccination is not safe, so joint action is important.”

Amid the spread of the mutant virus, South Africa has surpassed 1.4 million confirmed cases and 40,000 deaths.
