There are two countries in South America that have suffered a lot from Corona 19 in the past year.

Chile is getting out of the pandemic tunnel due to the rapid introduction of the vaccine and the highest inoculation rate, but Brazil has the highest level of deaths per day since the pandemic, and it is evaluated that the current government has lost the ability to control Corona 19.

With 1.3 vaccines per 100 people a day, Chile has the world’s highest vaccination rate.

More than 23% of the people have been vaccinated more than once.

Chile, where many patients and deaths occurred due to the initial testing of the Corona 19 pandemic and lack of quarantine facilities, was able to take the lead in vaccination because of its quick response.

Early on, the importance of vaccines was recognized and negotiations were held with vaccine manufacturers such as Sinobac in China.

Clinical trials of Synovac and AstraZeneca vaccines have been made available in Chile.

Chile, which has secured sufficient vaccines early through such efforts, is sending the remaining vaccines to neighboring countries such as Paraguay and Ecuador.

In Brazil, on the other hand, things are getting worse.

The number of deaths per day of Corona 19 exceeds 2,200, making it the highest.

With more than 90% of the intensive care unit occupied by 16 out of 27 nation-leading Brazilian countries, the collapse of the healthcare system is on the verge.

When state governments such as Sao Paulo tightened the blockade to prevent the spread of Corona 19, President Bolsonaro rebelled if it caused social and economic collapse.

Some argue that the current government has almost lost its ability to control Corona 19 and that it needs a’crisis cabinet’.
