Mutations that originate in the UK and South Asia have been found all over the world beyond their own country, but in addition, two or three other COVID-19 mutant viruses are causing regional spread.

Six more people infected with the British mutant virus came out in Japan.

After the first two people were discovered on the 25th, the cumulative number of infections was 14 with the highest outbreak a day.

In addition, a mutation from South Africa was first discovered.

In Canada, mutant viruses originating from the UK and South Africa have been reported one after another in various countries, including newly confirmed cases of mutant infection from the UK.

However, other mutant viruses are also likely to spread.

This is because, in addition to variations from England and South Africa, there are variations from Nigeria and Mink from Denmark and Canada.

The Nigerian mutation is another mutation from the UK and South Africa, where the mother body has been confirmed, and is currently leading the fashion in Nigeria.

The mink mutant virus was found on mink farms in Denmark, the Netherlands and Canada, and spread to local communities after farm workers were infected.

These mutant viruses need more research on their association with toxicity, fatality, and vaccine efficacy, but they are common in their faster spread.

Therefore, each country is putting all its efforts into blocking inflow.

This is because of the sense of crisis that a new epidemic may begin and an unresponsive situation may arise if a mutant virus with rapid spreading power is introduced in a situation where the 2nd and 3rd epidemics have not been caught.

Some mutant viruses have already been confirmed to spread beyond the country to the local community of other countries, so it seems that it is not something to be done by blocking only certain countries.

This is why WHO recommends countries to strengthen surveillance of mutant viruses with the opinion that further analysis is needed.
