The square in front of the Atlanta City Capitol, USA.
Hundreds of citizens gathered with flags and pickets.
To condemn hate crimes against Asians.
Not only Asians, but also black and white citizens who shared the same will.
Koreans holding Korean pickets also stand out.
In order to reduce or prevent hate crimes, they argue that police and authorities need to know the law and apply it more actively.
However, investigative authorities are said to be struggling to secure evidence to prove hate crimes.
We’re looking for clear evidence, such as text messages and online posts that reveal racism, but we haven’t got it yet.
If hate crimes are not applied, the voice of condemnation will inevitably increase, which is a burden for investigative authorities.
Demonstrations like this continue in every major city in the United States.
It seems that the US condemnation movement to stop hate crimes against Asians will not stop for the time being.
