Ten years ago today (11th), the Great East Japan Earthquake, which led to the explosion of the Fukushima nuclear power plant, occurred.

Due to the myriad problems left by the worst nuclear power plant accident, restoration of the damaged area is becoming a distant future without promise.

Correspondent Lee Kyung-ah visited the Fukushima damage site.

After that, a huge tsunami over 10 meters in height came.

At the place where the tsunami swept away, a tradition hall was built to inform the lessons of the current earthquake and the Fukushima nuclear power plant accident.

Radioactive contamination, which is so severe that it is inaccessible to the inside of the nuclear power plant, still remains, so it is not possible to grasp the exact situation.

Futaba-machi near the nuclear power plant, where all residents are evacuating, has not yet restored basic living facilities such as electricity and water.

In addition, the uncertain future of the nuclear power plant was added, and 62% of the residents said they had no intention of returning.

The clock that stopped ten years ago that day still remains on a street where no one lives.
