Georgia’s run-off vote to determine the majority of the US Senate is on Tuesday local time.

The election results determine the majority of the Senate, so both Republicans and Democrats are focusing their efforts on this election.

At 7 a.m. local time on Tuesday, a runoff vote for two federal senators from the state of Georgia began at once.

In the federal parliamentary elections held on November 3 of last year, the Republican Party and the Democratic Party showed dominance one by one, but there were no majority votes under state law, so the final ballot was held.

In this election, if the Republican Party secures even one seat, the majority will remain, but if both seats are occupied by the Democrats, the Democratic Party will take over the Senate with the vice president’s casting boat event.

Currently, the Republican Party holds 50 seats in the Senate and the Democrats have 48 seats.

If the Democratic Party dominates the Senate, it can support the stable administration of the Biden administration.

Conversely, if the Republican Party retains the majority, it can hold a strong hold on the Democratic government.

On the eve of the election, President Trump and President-elect Biden went to Georgia to appeal for support from the party candidate.

Georgia, in the southeastern United States, has been regarded as a garden for the Republican Party, but in the 11th and 3rd presidential elections last year, elect Joe Biden won a mere 10,000 votes.

In the polls just before the runoff vote, Democratic Party candidates showed marginal advantage within the margin of error, and the fact that the number of pre-voting votes was 3 million, reaching 60% of the total votes in the last presidential election, is considered a good boon to the Democratic Party.
