[국제]Emergencies such as Tokyo in Japan will be lifted on the 21st…”The possibility of re-proliferation is great”

The Japanese government has decided to lift all of the Corona 19 emergencies remaining in four metropolitan areas, including Tokyo, on the 21st.

Japanese Prime Minister Suga held a meeting of the Corona 19 Countermeasure Headquarters and announced that the hospital bed utilization rate has improved, including meeting the emergency relief standards, and that it has decided to lift emergency situations in four areas in the metropolitan area on the 21st.

With this, all corona 19 emergencies in Japan, which have continued for nearly two and a half months since January 8, will be lifted.

Prime Minister Suga said that after the emergency is lifted, necessary measures, such as strengthening the prosecution posture, will be taken to prevent the re-proliferation of Corona 19.

Japan Government Corona 19 Countermeasure Advisory Committee Chairman Shigeru Omi agreed to lift the emergency situation, but emphasized the importance of countermeasures as there is a very high possibility that Corona 19 will spread significantly again in the metropolitan area in the future.

In Tokyo, the number of new confirmed cases per day recorded 297 on average from the 12th to the 18th, an increase of 9% from the previous week, and the number of infected infections in nearby Saitama Prefecture has also turned to an increasing trend.

In the meantime, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government is planning to continue reducing sales of restaurants, etc. by the end of this month even after the emergency is lifted, and for the first time, about 110 businesses that did not participate here have ordered a reduction in sales based on the revised Corona 19 Countermeasures Act.

Meanwhile, Miyagi Prefecture, where the infection is rapidly spreading, with the recent daily new confirmed cases exceeding 100 people, the highest since the Corona 19 incident, has issued an independent emergency at the local government level and called on residents to be alert.
