As the number of confirmed cases continues to increase, China is striving to secure facilities to isolate rural residents into groups.

That’s right.

There were more than 100 confirmed cases in China yesterday, the fifth day a year.

Yesterday, 96 people occurred in mainland China, and 109 people were confirmed, including 13 people from overseas.

Hebei Province, the metropolitan area, has the largest number with 72, followed by Heilongjiang and Jilin Province, with more than 10 confirmed patients each.

In addition, yesterday, the number of asymptomatic infections soared to 103, and the actual number of infected is more than 200.

After the first confirmed cases came out on the 2nd in Hebei Province, the spread has not been caught for the 15th.

Currently, four cities, including Shijiazhuang, with a population of more than 10 million, are blocked off.

In the case of Shijiazhuang, all residents have been tested for nucleic acids twice, but once the day after tomorrow, residents are prohibited from going out of their homes.

Infected people are emerging even under high intensity control. How is China responding?

China’s method is a thorough ban on migration, while testing for early detection and early treatment of all resident nucleic acids is key.

However, this time, as this did not work well, we are focusing on large-scale containment.

Last week, we had 20,000 rural residents from infected areas leave the village at once.

Due to the lack of containment facilities, the epicenter of Shijiazhuang City in Hebei Province is urgently building a 3,000-room temporary containment facility in the outskirts.

Foundation construction and prefabricated buildings will be built on 30 football fields, and residents of the infected area will be quarantined here as a group.

However, starting with the basic construction, the speed slowed, and Xingtai City, Hebei Province, nearby, is urgently building a prefabricated isolation facility in the building that was built as a factory.

We are aiming to complete 6,500 temporary barrack-type quarantine facilities in six areas, but with a total of 3,000 in Shijiazhuang City, 9,500 people can be quarantined.

Xingtai City completed 1,500 rooms within 5 days of construction, and 800 people moved in until yesterday.

This re-proliferation is mainly occurring in rural areas, but because of the nature of rural villages, it is difficult to control, so it is quarantined in a separate facility.

Mostly, hotels and offices close to the infected area are used as quarantine facilities, but these existing facilities are saturated, so prefab quarantine facilities are being built.

Looking at China’s securing of up to about 10,000 temporary quarantine facilities, it seems that we believe that this re-proliferation situation may not end in a short time.
