Britain tightens entry controls to block the COVID-19 mutant virus.

In particular, if you write false data when entering the country from a red country, you can be sentenced to’up to 10 years’ in prison.

Germany is also likely to extend containment measures to stop the spread of the mutant virus.

British Health Secretary Matt Hancock said he would introduce a 10-day quarantine in hotels for entry from Red Countries starting on the 15th.

Containment subjects must make a reservation at a designated hotel in advance, paying £1,750 per person, approximately KRW 2.68 million USD.

By default, entry into the UK is prohibited in Red countries, and only UK and Irish nationals or permanent residents are allowed.

The list of red countries includes 33 countries, including South Africa and Brazil, with mutant viruses.

If you are from other countries such as Korea, you can quarantine at home, but you must be tested for Corona 19 on the 2nd and 8th days.

Penalties for violations are also strengthened.

Fines of up to £2,000 for not undergoing a scheduled corona test and up to £10,000 for not quarantined at the hotel.

In particular, if you write false data when entering the country from a red country, you can be sentenced to up to 10 years in prison.

Meanwhile, it is known that the German government will hold a meeting of the federal government and 16 governors in the presence of Prime Minister Angela Merkel on the 10th local time and extend the blockade.

Prime Minister Merkel said earlier that he was opposed to easing the blockade by early next month, estimating that 20% of the new confirmed cases were infected with the mutant virus.

Germany is implementing a total blockade, closing all stores except for daily necessities stores from December 16th to the 14th of last year.
