[국제]Brazil loses control of the spread of mutations, corona fear peaks

In Brazil, where the spread of the mutant virus is so severe, the damage is spreading out of control.

As the quarantine has failed due to a weakened awareness, and the vaccination is not carried out as quickly as expected, the distrust and fear of citizens are growing.

Reporter Kim Soo-han will deliver on the local situation.

It is a municipal cemetery located on the outskirts of Sao Paulo city.

There are many funeral processions here every day.

This is because the corona death toll rises and falls by 2,000 people a day as the mutant virus rises.

Brazil has seen a rapid upward curve over the past week, both new proliferation and death toll.

The biggest problem is that the threat of medical collapse is looming as far as Brazil’s largest city, Sao Paulo.

The medical collapse and the vaccination policy are disrupting.

Brazil’s Ministry of Health recently announced that it has secured 10.2 million doses of Korean AstraZeneca vaccine through’CoVax’ and plans to receive 42.5 million doses of the vaccine within this year.

However, experts responded that it is difficult to increase the inoculation rate in a short period of time with this amount.

Citizens’ fear is inevitably greater as the response to Corona 19 falls behind in securing a vaccine.

The Brazilian government is also negotiating with the United States to purchase vaccines to slow down the supply and demand of vaccines.

However, citizens’ anxiety is deepening as to whether they will be able to overcome the serious crisis that faces their eyes with a slow vaccine policy and loose quarantine.
