U.S. President Joe Biden’s $1.9 trillion stimulus plan to overcome COVID-19 is being put to a standstill due to revolt from the Republican Party.

Republican lawmakers reduced the scale to one-third and proposed reverse, but they were put to the test whether to accept it or push it as planned according to the banner of integration.

It is a strategy to bypass the process that requires 60 votes to process the bill.

In the midst of this, 10 Republican lawmakers asked President Biden for a bipartisan stimulus package and an interview.

He said, “We will announce specific amendments soon, and we will come up with a bipartisan stimulus in the spirit of unity.

In this case, the number of votes in the Senate is 60 votes, so it may be possible for a bipartisan treatment in the Senate.

However, their amendment is worth 670 trillion won, a third of the size proposed by President Biden.

As a result, President Biden was put to a test of whether to continue the negotiations that made use of the banner of unity or push forward the proposal.
