US President Joe Biden says Chinese President Xi Jinping is far from democracy and says there will be extreme competition, even if not physically, with China.

US President Joe Biden told CBS on the 5th that there is no democratic corner of Chinese President Xi Jinping.

He said he had been telling President Xi all the time that the US and China don’t need to collide, and he said, “but there will be extreme competition.”

President Biden also explained that he will not do it in the way Xi knows, and that former President Donald Trump will not do it in one way, and will focus on the means of international rule.

President Biden repeatedly emphasized the need for a strategy to press China in international solidarity by uniting alliances instead of the Trump administration’s one-on-one trade war with the US-China, represented by high tariffs.

President Biden said in this interview that he has not yet had a chance to speak with Xi since taking office, but there is no reason not to call Xi.

President Biden replied “No” when asked if he would first lift sanctions to bring Iran back to the negotiating table on the Iranian nuclear issue.

In addition, when asked if Iran should stop enriching uranium first, he nodded as a sign of consent without answering.
