[국제]600,000 Israelis were vaccinated against Pfizer, and “94% prevention rate”… no difference from clinical

[앵커]

Pfizer-Bioentech’s analysis of the effectiveness of the COVID-19 vaccine is being conducted one after another in Israel.

This time, the results for 600,000 people who completed the second vaccination were found, and a 94% prevention rate was confirmed.

Up to 94% of the Pfizer vaccine has been confirmed in Israel.

This is the result of comparing the non-vaccinated group and infection with 600,000 people who completed both the 1st and 2nd vaccinations.

The number of cases of severe development after infection also decreased by 92%.

There is no significant difference from Pfizer’s Phase 3 clinical results reported with a 95% prevention rate.

The study was conducted by Claret, Israel’s largest health agency, with encouraging results and emphasized the effectiveness of the two doses.

This is because the Pfizer vaccine elicits 52% of the preventive effects after the first vaccination and up to 95% through the second vaccination 3 weeks later.

In Israel last month, a similar study was published by another health agency.

As a result of comparing 160,000 people who completed the 1st and 2nd vaccinations with those who were not inoculated, 92% prevention rate was found.

A test result of the number of virus populations in body fluids conducted by Israel’s largest corona19 testing agency was also reported, which was more than 60% lower than those in their 40s-50s with a high vaccinated rate.

The first cases of such large-scale surveys of vaccinationists follow because Israel has secured a large volume with Pfizer as a condition of providing real-time vaccination data.

Israel began a large-scale vaccination of the Pfizer vaccine on December 19 last year, and as of the morning of the 15th local time, about 3.9 million people out of the total population of 9.3 million completed the first dose, and about 2.35 million people completed the second dose.
