Myanmar’s military and police fired again indiscriminately at the protesters, and a terrible bloodshed was reenacted within three days.

The UN special envoy to Myanmar said 38 people died a day yesterday and shed the most blood since the coup.

Concerned that “there could be a real war,” he called for the United Nations to step up and take strong action against the Myanmar military.

Reuters and the AFP news agency reported that there were several deaths from military and police shootings in Mandalay and Yangon, including Monyuwa.

Myanmar’s civic group Political Offenders Support Association (AAPP) said yesterday that at least 18 people were killed and that the death toll would increase.

The group said the deaths came from various places, including Monyuwa, Mandalay, Pyin Oo Lwin, Mingjan and Pakant.

Myanmar netizens appealed for international support by posting pictures and videos of bleeding citizens on social media.
