In a political party map survey of Busan citizens, 36.6% of respondents answered that they supported the power of the people or said they had even slightly more favorable feelings.

Only in their 30s, positive-negative evaluations are similar

“I can’t do it” More than 60% of Busan

36.6% of the people’s power, 13.6%p ahead of the previous year

High support from the eastern region, 5060, men

■The power of the people, high support from self-employed

In a survey conducted by 〈Busan Ilbo〉 and YTN jointly with Real Meter on 1028 Busan citizens aged 18 or older on the 22nd and 23rd, the ruling party, the Democratic Party, was 23%, and the difference between the two parties was outside the margin of error. It was 13.6% points. This was followed by 6.8% of the People’s Party, 3.3% of the Justice Party and 3.2% of the Open Democratic Party. 24.1% of respondents said that there is no supportive party.

The power of the people in the eastern region (41.0%) by region, and the age group in their 50s (46.9%) and over 60 (51.8%) secured a support rate that exceeded the overall average. By gender, 47.1% of men and 26.7% of women responded that they supported it, indicating that the men’s preference for power was far higher than that of women.

In particular, by occupation, 46.9% of the self-employed voters supported the People’s Party, which is interpreted as being largely dissatisfied with the current government due to the downturn in local commercial districts caused by the Corona 19 incident.

The Democratic Party received relatively high support in the 30s (32.0%) and 40s (32.9%) in the age group, and in the office, management, and professional (31%) occupations.

In the map of political parties excluding both parties, the Nationalist Party was supported by 6.8%, more than twice the Justice Party (3.3%).

In the 21st general election in April this year, the Justice Party’s approval rating of the Busan proportional representative of the National Assembly was 7.4%, ahead of the people’s power (6.2%).

■President Moon, similar evaluation only in 30s

In evaluating President Moon Jae-in’s performance of state affairs, 31.8% of respondents said they are doing well (10.8% are very good, 21.0% are good at), and 65% said they are doing wrong (45.4% are very wrong). , 19.6% of those who do wrong).

The negative public opinion on President Moon’s performance of state administration exceeded twice that of the positive public opinion.

By region, more than 60% of voters in all jurisdictions negatively evaluated Moon’s performance of state administration.

Western regions (Saha, Sasang, Gangseo, Buk-gu) 35.7% (positive) vs. 61.2% (negative), Midwestern regions (Seogu, Dong-gu, Jung-gu, Busanjin, Yeongdo) 29.8% vs. 66.2%, and the Middle East (Geumjeong, Yeonje, Dongrae) 33.2% vs. 65.8%, and in eastern regions (Haeundae, Nam-gu, Suyeong, and Gijang), 28.4% vs. 67.2%.

By age, the rate of negative evaluation was significantly higher among those in their 50s (67.4%) and over 60s (78.6%). Only in their 30s, the positive 47.5% and the negative 49.9% were similar.

Even among the young people aged 18-29, 38.6% positive and 55.1% negative appear, and the’fairness’ issue deepened by the incident of former Justice Minister Cho Kook seems to have had a great influence.

By gender, males had 24.8% positive and 73.2% negative, while women had 38.3% positive and 57.3% negative.

A Real Meter official said, “If you look at other polls, President Moon’s approval rating is holding 40% of the nationwide Maginot line, but in Busan it seems that the support line has collapsed.” “The positive evaluation is relatively high in the professional group,” he said.

In order for President Moon to restore approval ratings in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam (PK), it is necessary to actively implement a policy that takes into account the vulnerable groups such as men, self-employed, and over 50 who are negatively evaluating the performance of their state administration. It becomes an answer.

How did you investigate

This poll was commissioned by the Busan Ilbo and YTN to survey 1028 men and women over the age of 18 who lived in Busan for two days from 22-23 this month by Real Meter.

A parallel survey was conducted at a ratio of 70% wireless and 30% wired, and a phone interview using a structured questionnaire and an automated response (ARS) were mixed at a 50-50 ratio. The results of the survey were weighted (rim weight) according to the proportion of the population by gender, age, and region based on the statistics on resident registration of the Ministry of Public Administration and Security last month. The response rate was 8.3%. The sample error is ±3.1% points (P) with a 95% confidence level. For other details, please refer to the website of the Central Election Survey Deliberation Committee.
