The American Professional Golf Association (PGA of America) announced on the 26th (Korean time), “After searching for work, we will hold the PGA Championship next year at the Southern Hills Golf Course, which has played seven majors so far. It was originally decided to open at the Trump National Golf Course in Bedminster, New Jersey, USA, but on the 6th, when the incident occurred in which enthusiastic supporters of former U.S. President Donald Trump invaded the Capitol, an emergency board of directors was called to make a full resolution to change the venue.

Southern Hills Golf Course opened in 1936 and is a prestigious course that has hosted three US Opens and four PGA Championships.
