PGA Tour, RBC (Royal Bank of Canada), Golf Canada (Golf Canada) said on the 10th (Korean time) “The RBC Canada Open scheduled for June this year will not be held.” It is because various transportation difficulties have also been added.” It has been ineffective for the second consecutive year following last year. The PGA Tour added, “I will try to make the tournament happen normally next year.”

This year, it was scheduled to take place at St. George’s Golf Course in Toronto, Canada for four days starting from June 10th. The RBC Canadian Open was founded in 1904 and is the third oldest tournament in the world. It was not held in 1915-1918 and 1943 due to the war. The most recent 2019 winner is Rory McIlroy (Northern Ireland). A PGA Tour official said, “We are considering a plan to hold another competition in the United States during the same period.”
