The government announced the current government’s largest supply plan to secure 830,000 new housing sites in large cities across the country by 2025.

The plan is to supply 320,000 units in Seoul alone, similar to the number of apartments in Gangnam District 3, and Hong Nam-ki, Deputy Prime Minister of Economy, explained that it is at the level of’supply shock’.

The government will start supplying large scale housing sites by 2025

First, we supply 320,000 units in Seoul.

It is about three times the size of Bundang’s new city, and is close to 340,000 apartments in Gangnam 3 district.

In addition, we plan to secure a site that can build 610,000 units in the metropolitan area and 220,000 units in five metropolitan cities, including Gyeonggi and Incheon.

The core of this measure is the’City Public Housing Complex Project’, which develops around old or neglected stations, semi-industrial areas, and low-rise residential areas.

The goal is to supply 190,000 units in total to Seoul, including 110,000 units, led by public institutions.

Various regulations such as raising the floor area ratio up to 700% will be released.

In addition, it announced that it will secure 570,000 units through various new projects including development of the station area, and fill the remaining 260,000 units with public housing sites.

However, it has not been determined where the new home site will be.
