The 29th occurrence of highly pathogenic AI occurred in the country.

On the 24th, this meat duck farm in Gurye, Jeollanam-do was detected with H5 antigen during regular inspections by the quarantine agency.

As a result of a close examination, it was confirmed as highly pathogenic.

Today’s addition is a farm that raised 16,000 ducks.

It is within a 3km radius of Gurye Duck Farm, which was confirmed on the 25th.

The Heavy Water Company plans to burial poultry within a 3km radius of the farm, and restrict movement and conduct inspections for one month on poultry farms within a 10km radius.

As highly pathogenic AI occurs one after another in six provinces nationwide, the government has issued a temporary suspension order nationwide today.

The movement of livestock, workers, and vehicles from poultry farms across the country for 24 hours from 0 o’clock today is prohibited.

This is the third time after the 28th and 12th of last month, right after the first outbreak of highly pathogenic AI, that the heavy water supply has issued an order to stop movement nationwide.

In Gangwon, Gyeongnam, and Jeju Island, where AI has not yet occurred in farms, it is not a situation that is safe as highly pathogenic AI has been confirmed in wild birds.

As of 8 a.m., 9427,000 livestock were buried.

In addition, today’s burial was carried out at the Yesan broiler farm in Chungnam, which was confirmed yesterday.

The farm, as well as other farms in the dynamics, and the farms raised within 3 km of the outbreak point, were disposing of 185,000 more animals.

With the spread of highly pathogenic AI, prices for chickens, ducks and eggs are also rising.

Duck production prices rose 45.3% compared to before the occurrence of highly pathogenic AI, and broiler and chicken production prices rose 6.1% and eggs 7.6%.
