Since this morning, there have been several cases where the Google Android application is not running and the smartphone is jammed.

For more than 7 hours, all frequently used applications such as KakaoTalk and Naver have stopped, but it turned out to be a problem with the Android system app.

All of Google’s Android-based smartphones have stopped working.

When you tap an application such as Naver or KakaoTalk, a notification window appears indicating that the app has been stopped, and nothing stops working.

Because everything stopped, users were confused at the service center because they thought their cell phone device was broken.

As it turned out, the cause was in the Android system application.

An app called’Webview’ that displays web content caused a crash with another app after a recent update.

When Google first recognized this phenomenon around 8 am, users were able to use their smartphones by manually deleting the’Webview’ update as a temporary measure.

After seven more hours, Google notified of the disruption and released an urgently updated version that corrected the error.

Earlier, in December of last year, Google became the first case of being sanctioned under the so-called’Netflix Act’ as services including YouTube stopped working for about an hour.

The Ministry of Science and Technology and Information and Communication has made sure that if similar problems arise in the future, including checking facilities for service stability and submitting measures to prevent recurrence, Google Korea will promptly notify the fact of the failure and notify the Korean media.

At the time, Google overcame the crisis despite criticism of the punishment of the cotton bat, but repeated procrastination made it again at the center of controversy.
