The results of the first joint investigation into allegations of speculation in LH, which has focused on public attention, will be announced later this week as early as possible.

The government joint investigation team, which has been conducting on-site investigations at the headquarters of LH in Jinju, Gyeongnam since the 5th, is conducting a full-scale face-to-face investigation of employees who are suspicious of speculation.

Targets are those who have acquired the 3rd new city real estate since December 2013.

In December 2018, Wangsuk, Hanam, Gyosan, and Gyeyang in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, for the first time among the 3rd new towns, were disclosed. Considering the possibility that information was used in the process of designating and reviewing districts, the scope of the survey was set to five years before publication.

The government explained that it is not possible to estimate the size of the transaction at this time, but the survey is expected to exceed 100,000 people, including employees of target organizations such as the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and LH, their spouses, and direct survivors.

Prime Minister Jeong Sye-gyun even stepped up and expressed his willingness to punish severely, and the atmosphere inside the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and LH turned into a thin ice plate.
