The prices of agricultural products, which had soared at the end of the normal holiday, have stabilized again.

Although two weeks have passed since the end of the Lunar New Year holiday this year, the’dining table price’ continues to rise.

Kim Ji-eun, a housewife who came out to shop at the mart, was surprised to see the price of leeks.

This is because the price of Daepa, which was around 5,000 won before the Lunar New Year, rose even more.

The price of green onions has risen significantly and is hitting an all-time high.

A few months ago, the price of green onions, which was 2 to 3,000 won per unit, is now close to 7,000 won.

This is because winter leek production has decreased significantly due to the subsequent cold waves and heavy snow.

Even compared to a year ago, it jumped more than three times.

Onions, which had sluggish crops last year, also rose by 50%.

Potato and sweet potato prices have also risen significantly.

Compared to a year ago, potatoes have increased by 30% and chestnut potatoes by 60%.

Eggs hit directly by highly pathogenic avian influenza are still expensive.

Usually, after the holidays, the’dining table prices’ have gradually stabilized, but this year, prices are rising in all directions.

This is because the harvest was sluggish due to the rainy season and typhoon last year, and several factors, including cold waves and AI, overlapped all at once.

In addition, as international grain prices continue to rise, processed food prices are also rising.

Experts predict that agricultural product prices will gradually recover to normal levels until the next month, when the crops recover as the weather clears.
