The results of a public opinion poll came out on the 24th that the candidate Oh Se-hoon, who took the by-election of the mayor of Seoul, outperforms Park Young-sun and the Democratic Party candidate nearly 20 percentage points.
As a result of asking 1042 people aged 18 and older living in Seoul on the 22nd and 23rd at the request of YTN and TBS,’Who would the next candidates run for by unifying candidates in the Seoul mayoral election?’ 48.9 of the respondents. % Chose Oh and 29.2% chose Park.
The gap between the two candidates is 19.7% points, which is outside the margin of error (±3.0% points at the 95% confidence level).
This survey was conducted from the 22nd when the unification investigation between Candidate Oh and Ahn Chul-soo started the unification investigation, until the morning of the 23rd, just before the announcement of the unification results.
Candidate Oh was from the supporters of the People’s Power (93.3%), conservatives (76.0%), over 60 (70.2%), and housewives (62.8%), while Park was supported by the Democratic Party (88.9%), and the progressives (59.5%). In their 40s (53.5%), they received higher support than their opponents.
In terms of area of residence, Candidate Oh surpassed Candidate Park in all regions, including the west of the Gangbuk area (45.8%), the East Gangbuk area (50.1%), the West Gangnam area (46.5%), and the East Gangnam area (53.1%).
In the active voting group who must vote in this election, 52.5% of Oh and 29.6% of Park were voted for.
In the poll willingness to vote, 93.6% of respondents said they would vote. 77.8% of respondents say they will vote, and 15.7% will probably vote.
Party support was 32.7% for the People’s Power, 23.5% for the Democratic Party, 13.4% for the People’s Party, 3.5% for the Justice Party, and 3.1% for the Open Democratic Party.
In the meaning of this re-election, 59.2% of’Government Ruling Party Judgment’ and 32.9% of’Stable State Administration’.
41.8% of respondents cited’stabilization of the real estate market’ as the key issues of the next Mayor of Seoul, 27.4% of respondents cited’Activation of the People’s Economy and Job Creation’, 7.8% of’Balanced Development between Gangbuk and Gangnam’, and’Environment and Life Safety’ was 7.2%, and’low birthrate and aging policy’ was 7.0%.
