It was revealed that Hong-man Choi, a mixed martial artist, had not paid 20 million won in arrears to the former manager for five years.

On the 24th, Sports Korea reported that Choi Hong-man did not repay a single won after being sentenced to pay 20 million won in wages to Mr. A, who worked as his manager by the Seoul Eastern District Court in October 2016.

The court decided to recommend reconciliation so that only 12 million won could be paid if Choi Hong-man paid his wages by August 31, 2017, one year after his sentence. At the time, victim A accepted the court’s decision in the mind that he would get the money and finish it even if he received 8 million won less.

However, Choi Hong-man has not paid interest amounting to 20 million won and 10 million won in principal until now, four years and five months later, and the victim’s pain is severe because he has not even been contacted.

It is known that Choi Hong-man has not even delivered a sentence of service because it is not clear where he will live. However, in the meantime, it is known that he did not make any efforts to reimburse him, although he was active in broadcasting appearances or participating in martial arts competitions.

Earlier in 2016, Hongman Choi was sentenced to 1 year in prison and 2 years probation for fraud. Since then, he participated in Angel Fighting in June 2019 and has not been active since appearing on Channel A’s’Icon Tact’ in December of the same year. For this reason, some speculate that Choi Hong-man resides abroad.
